With iMonitorPC Access Control allows you to give users access to certain capabilities of their PCs and block access to others. Here is a short list of features you can prevent user from accessing:

Transform any PC into a KIOSK

iMonitorPC provides a customizable user interface that starts immediately with the computer and presents the user with a predefined set of buttons that can only lunch certain applications.

This interface is driven by an easy to change XML file so you can create any number of buttons, position them on the screen and associate them with certain applications, or web sites. Each application can be launched with any number of parameters and more buttons can be displayed on the screen after user enters a password.
This feature is very useful in schools, kindergardens, stores, Internet cafes, or anywhere you think the user shoud have a limited access to the PC capabilities.

Usage Rules

iMonitorPC includes a flexible rule engine for controlling and blocking:
     - website by domain or URL
     - programs
     - chat user (coming soon)
Blocking can be immediate or after a certain amount of time allowed for that application, web site or chat. You also have the option to set flexible monitoring hours (for example exclude lunch hours from monitoring)

Note: setting rules to block programs, web sites and chat is not available on the subscription version and cannot be configured remotely at current time. We are working hard to make this available via web site and you will receive this as a free upgrade with your subscription.

iMonitorPC will soon introduce a powerful alerts system that can promptly inform you via email or web site when new programs are used, web sites are open, chat applications are used, or usage rules are being inforced.

Screen Capture

iMonitorPC can take pictures of the Windows Desktop just like an automatic surveillance camera! It also has a built-in Image Viewer which allows you to view screenshots picture conveniently.
To view screen snapshots simply select the desired period of time, the activity type and the user name, and then click an entry in the snapshot list. Users have the ability to zoom in by clicking on the image, or to Delete All screen captures. To setup Screen Capture Configuration go to Options screen, Monitoring tab.

Note: screen capture is not available on the subscription version and cannot be configured remotely at current time. We are working hard to make this available via web site.

Hidden or Visible? It’s flexible

iMonitorPC is easy to use and configure, password protected for access or removal, and has great flexibility for various needs like visible or invisible monitoring, monitoring hours, self monitoring, department monitoring etc.

It gives you maximum flexibility and security for remote monitoring as it can be installed inside of your network (iMonitorPC Server is required) or connected directly to our secure web site.

What we are working on now?

Our team is working hard to add some cool new features for our clients.

With our subscription model, all these features will be automatically added to your account and you can use them right away. Say goodbye to paying high maintenance fees or, even worse, having to buy new licenses every year because there is a new browser or a new chat app and so on. That’s something so important and oftenly overlooked when acquiring software applications.

Here is a short preview on some of the things will be adding next.

• Goals Driven Management
Once you establish your goals, the system will notify the appropriate users, managers or individual employees when goals are not met.

The managers will be able to obtain reports on missed and accomplished goals to help them with employee evaluation.

Howere, we discovered the best results are achieved with employee self-monitoring. Employees will be notified by the system when they do not meet their own goals. A high level of awarness is therefore created and people tend to be much more effective in the work place.

• File Monitoring System
Soon you will be able to see what files are being created, modified, accessed and by whom. This is important for companies that want to monitor time spent of documents or, for security purpose, want to keep a log of file that were accessed.

• Improve Rules and Blocking
This is working now in the client, but there is no way to setup rules from the web site. Stay tuned on it, we are working not just to allow you to remotely configure the rules, but also to dramatically improve the functionality of this module.

What we don’t have?

We are appreciative of your time and want to tell you from the start what features are not present in our product. Also, we believe that our software main goals are to give you insight information into your business in order to increase our productivity and in the same time save you thousands of dollars in license cost.

We are not trying to be a spyware application that decrease employee morale, but an application that makes them aware of their work ethics and in the end help your bottom line profits while preserving a friendly and trustworthy work place.
